Are
You Worried?
Every
Christian, at some point, will realize
the pressure
of overwhelming odds against them.
Whatever the cause of your worries, you
can take to heart that Christ is not
daunted by our obstacles. In fact, Jesus
not only helps us to survive, but to
thrive in the valley of pressure. This
is important to acknowledge. Why?
Decisions have to be made. Apart from a
biblical certainty, we will act out
decisions that will leave us exploited
by our weaknesses.
More
often than not, we react to overwhelming
pressure in a superficial way. We look
for someone to blame, develop a deep
desire to escape, deny the problem, or
fall into depression. These are not
habits we can afford to live with.
Outlandish odds may be pressing against
you. If so, this is your opportunity to
grow in your awareness of God's presence
and the reliability of His promises.
Make no mistake about it, God makes no
mistakes. He knows what he is doing to
you. Jesus Is Believable. Amen!
