The Goal Of Pruning

The pruning process of our lives includes cutting away all that reflects our earthly passions that are in opposition to God's will. As God refines our lives, we find ourselves becoming inclined to transparency. The leading of the Holy Spirit always results in humility, honesty, and openness before Christ. Truthfully, this is not what we desire in our own understanding.

A proud, arrogant, egotistical, self-sufficient person bristles at the idea of such transparency. It is astounding as to how secretive we really are! However, Christ cherishes and honors humility and a contrite spirit to the end that we will desire un-hindered oneness with Him. Oneness with Christ grips you with liberty to resolve yourself to the perfect will of God . The Will of God is not a fantasy, it is God willing Himself on your behalf (Romans 8:31,32). Christ Jesus Is the Believer's guarantee that even in dark and trying times, we always have the advantage. Amen!
