 Proverbs Chapter One - The Value Of Wisdom
 

The Book of Proverbs is more than just learning about God,  it is learning FROM God.  Chapter One stimulates the heart to realize the eternal value of God's wisdom.

How can we know for sure that we are listening to God? The answer is actually quite simple: Just listen to what you are asking for. If you find yourself asking for the wisdom of God; you are hearing from God. We have the confidence that what ever God says will always be consistent with His Word. Very importantly, when Christ speaks to you; you know that you are hearing Him when you find yourself compelled to be patient. Impatience is the daddy to our failures. We cannot afford to have a weak or wavering faith. God through the person of the Holy Spirit is very eager to exact the wisdom of God in your life. Determine now that you will spend time listening to the indwelling Holy Spirit. It will make all the difference as well as make you different.
