We Can Be Sure In An Unsure World

In contrast to the fleeting assurances offered by the world, the salvation that Christ IS, is an everlasting reality. Although many people spend their lives attempting to buy, create, or achieve assurances, God's salvation of us is complete. The good news is that, even when we do not know what the future holds, we can know the one Who holds the future. This is the assurance that breeds confidence.

The reality is that no believer is without assurance. The fact that you know that you are saved (1 John 5:13) is assurance enough that you are never without all of heaven's momentum in your favor (Rom. 8). No matter what is happening in the physical world around us, Christ Jesus permeates assurance in the darkest of times. He is working all things, including our failures for our good. The wonderful news for all of us is that Jesus Christ is our assurance. Don't underestimate the power of the blood of Christ. It is all the assurance you will ever need to be assured of God's love and care for your life.
