Paul's clear admonition which demands
our full attention... is that the cares
of this world and the deceitfulness of
riches, and the lust for other things
will nurture the corruption of our
understanding to a fervent bent against
the will of God. Any encouragement that
diverts your yielding to obey the Holy
Spirit will only bring about
disillusionment, staleness and death.
Resist anything or anyone which diverts
you from growing in the grace and
knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus
Christ. We must refuse to be fascinated
and cooperative with the seductive
solicitations of this rebellious and
religious world.
