The
Book Of Romans - Chapter One
CHRISTIANITY IS NOT FICTIONAL BUT
FACTUAL - IT IS NOT THEATRICAL BUT
THEOLOGY.
The entire book of Romans is summed up
in one statement: Salvation By Grace.
Paul begins this epistle with three
essentials:
#1: The Implicitly Of The Gospel -
Romans 1:16 Our Surety
#2: The Simplicity Of The Gospel -
Romans 5:8 Our Security
#3: The Complicity Of The Gospel -
Romans 10:13 Our Serenity
These three essentials form the basis of
our study.
1. FACT OF CONVERSION - VS1 ...Paul
a servant...
Note The Reality Of Salvation -
A. LOYALTY - vs.1a ...servant...
B. LISTENING ...1b ...called... A
Call To The Right...
<> Right PERCEPTION ...to be... A Right
Being = A Right Doing
<> Right PURPOSE ...an apostle...
2. FACT OF CONVEYING - VS2;
Ps
33:11;
Hebrews 1:1,2
A. God Conveys His Surety - Heb.1:2a.
...had...
B. God Conveys His Sincerity - Heb.1:2b
...promised...
C. God Conveys His Serenity - Heb.1:2c
...the holy scriptures...-
3. FACT OF CONCERN - VS.3,6-
THE BIBLE'S CHIEF CONCERN:
a. Incarnation Of Christ VS.3 -
DEITY-GOD. -
b. Declaration Of Christ - VS.4 See Acts

c. Salvation In Christ - vs.5a-
d. Sanctification By Christ - 5b,6
----------------------------
-
THE WORK OF SALVATION IS NOT
IMPOSSIBLE
PAUL WAS CONVERTED
-
THE WORK OF SANCTIFICATION IS
IMPORTANT
PAUL WAS CONFIDENT
-
THE
WORK OF SATISFACTION IS IMPACTING
PAUL WAS CONTENT TO CONTINUE
Faithfulness to the Word of God
accepts the fact that there are no
other reserves to draw upon.
Jesus Christ demands that all our
efforts in and through life must
draw from the riches of His grace (2
Corinthians 12:7,9). All other means
apart from the stern and sure
admonition of God's Word will only
leave us unpredictable, discontented
and irrational. We are afforded
God's demand to reject any and all
substitutes for the Word of God.
The Holy Spirit will never make this
a
matter of debate. God's Word and our
obedience to it is the only thinking
that pleases God (Eccl. 12:13).
Amen!
Sincerely, Dr. Arthur Belanger
