When
will it happen?
The
battle of Armageddon is a great , future
war that will be fought at Mount Megiddo
(present day Palestine) that will
conclude the seven years of tribulation.
This
will be the most devastating of all wars
humanity will experience. All of the
events during the
Great Tribulation will gravitate to
this decisive moment When Jesus Christ
returns and defeats and destroys the
enemy. No one can predict when
this will happen with certainty.
Only that it will happen
(Matthew 24:36)
Note
Revelation 16, where the preparation
for the battle is described
in verses 12-16. Note also, chapters
17-20. This battle is the final and
decisive war and it is more than just a
physical war. All of the forces of good
and evil will be fighting for power in
hopes of prevailing over God's people
and preventing the Lord's
Second Coming to the earth. The
distinct difference between this and
other wars is that
the outcome is
sure... we know who the winner is! Christ Jesus is the victor, and
then establishes His rule and reign on
