Galatians - Chapter One
- The Need For Sound Doctrine
Galatians reveals the necessity of sound
doctrine that is delivered by the
indwelling Holy Spirit and impregnated
in the hearts of God's people. We must
know that God's grace is not the
toleration of us... but the
transformation of us.

Paul's theme throughout his epistles to
the believers in Galatia can be summed
up this way: What a change has
been wrought in my heart since Jesus
came into my heart.
The difference between a sinner and a
Christian is LIFE! The former is
dead and the latter is alive. There is a
world of difference before and after
salvation. While we cannot achieve
salvation; the work of salvation
achieves an eternal and internal change
(2 Corinthians 5:17). This is the
pre-eminent appeal Paul gives throughout
this epistle.
Sincerely, Dr. Arthur Belanger
